Description
Huma-Air MOD30 Airgun Moderator Compact
The MOD30 is the smallest diameter moderator line up in a compact length within our modular moderator range of 30 mm, 40 mm or 50 mm diameters. Offering a slim and lightweight solution for your rifle setup. Designed for shooters who want the best sound reduction for their rifle and setup but want to remain a slim and compact build. The construction consists of a start module with fixed female threads and multiple 40 mm long aluminium modules.
Each module contains a CNC-machined POM-C polymer insert. The geometry is developed to control and disperse the air blast efficiently, reducing muzzle report while maintaining full strength under high air volumes.
The moderator is sandblasted for a fine texture and finished in semi-gloss black anodizing. All parts are precision machined and screw together securely, ensuring correct alignment and easy configuration changes.
Lightweight construction.
The MOD30 moderator is built from aerospace grade aluminium combined with lightweight inserts. This results in a low overall weight compared to many traditional airgun moderators.
Full flexibility
• Total length adjustable by adding or removing 40 mm modules
• Internal volume adaptable to different power levels
• Choice of insert type or open-volume setup
• Calibre-specific bore size
You can use the standard inserts or the optional metal wire sleeves with Kevlar® reinforced ballistic fibres, or run the chambers without inserts to maximize internal volume. By adjusting the number of chambers and internal configuration, tone, frequency and overall sound reduction can be tuned to match your rifle setup.
The MOD30 Airgun Moderator Compact is particularly suited for high-power PCP air rifles or pistols where a slim, compact and light weight design is required.
Please note: If the moderator is mounted directly onto the threaded barrel, select the same calibre as your rifle. When mounting via an adapter or on a shroud supported by O-rings, it is recommended to select one calibre size larger.
